Who made this cage?

I have two of these cages, and I’d like to get more, but for the life of me I have no idea who manufactures them. I bought them from a guy I no longer will do business with, and I’d like to find another source. Also, does anybody know if and where I can buy just the plastic drip pan?

Not sure exactly who makes it, but the hinges, framing, and mesh look make it look alot like the ones from lllreptile

you could drain it really easily by drillin a 1/4 microtube line to the bottom of it and using a quick connect 1/4 inch 90 degree shutoff valve and causing a slight tilt to make all the water go to your tube

I believe that I can also provide those screen cages in the same standard sizes
as I source the same supplier as some of those mentioned above. :D
give me the measurements of what you want
PM me.

(Sorry but I don't supply the drip pans, you can try chad for those :))

Thanks for trying to help, but none of these suppliers sell a cage identical to the one in my picture. The key is the fitted drip pan. You see the ledge where the cage rests? That’s where the bottom screen is—the actual bottom of the cage is a full two inches below it. The plant and the branches are held up by bricks underneath the screen. Even the small cage shown can hold two or three gallons of runoff. I just can’t figure out who makes the setup. Here’s a couple of shots of the pan itself. As you can see, there’s no manufacturer’s stamp or logo anywhere.

Which begs the obvious question of how it was manufactured. Was the pan injection molded to fit the cage, or was the pan purchased from a third party vendor and the cage was assembled to fit the pan?

I believe the pan was thermoformed and not injection molded. I know, it doesn't help matters... but, thermoforming (or vacuum forming) is not that hard to make!!

i want those pans.

Yeah, me too. That seems to be the general consensus around here. The cages themselves are just ordinary screen-mesh cages—nothing unusual there. It’s those fitted pans that are of interest. I was at Reptile Depot the day before yesterday, and they had no clue. They seemed to appreciate the fact that somebody linked to them in this thread, though. They also suggested what I’ve also suspected all along—that the pans are from a third-party vendor, they very possibly have nothing whatsoever to do with herpetoculture, and the cage materials were cut to fit the pan, rather than the pan being fashioned to fit the cage. Other than that, I’m drawing a big fat blank here. I got both cages at Exotic Life Fish & Reptiles in Chatsworth, CA. Their phone number is (818) 341-1007. The manager’s name is Rusty. They still carry them, so if anybody wants to call them and see if they can coax the information out of them, have at it. Good luck, and of course, report back.

It looks like a bird cage pan. I've seen something similar with my friend who keeps various birds. I've found some different pans, but haven't seen them in person.

EDIT: grammar

the beegerboxes.com actually have a very nice cage with a built in drip pan that slides like drawer when you need to clean it out.
Convenient and wonderful.
Too bad it's extremely expensive.
199 + 129 (shipping).
they said the shipping price went up this year (from 47 bucks).

Good grief. You could buy a 3’ X 5’ polyurethane shower pan like this one for about $50 at Home Depot. See the ¾” ledge all around? Throw in enough screen hardware to build a 7’ X 3’ X 5’ enclosure, and voila—a 105 cubic foot floor-to-ceiling cage for less than 200 bucks.

yeah. but, it was a nice cage and all. if the shipping was still 47 bucks.
I probably would buy it/
hey washoe, please give me news if you are able to find the source.
Right now, i am in contact with Jason for custom build drip pan.
but, it seems the guy that supply the injection mold still has not give him news yet.

I saw for the first time bird cage pans that looked just like that. They looked to be the perfect size too! $19.99. I may go measure and buy one today for my 24X24X36 cage and I will let everyone know how it works out!

Where did you find it for $19.99? I was going to ask my friend when I see her next time.
