White spots on chams face

Hello, I got my panther cham last Friday and he has had these white spots on his face. Before him I had a veiled cham so I know what a shed looks like and I feel like the white spots have been there for too long for it to be a shed. Maybe he just sheds slow and I'm freaking out over nothing but I just wanted to make sure. If the pictures are bad just tell me and I can take more.

How old is he? I wonder if the spots are hard water deposits?

I think he is about 4 months old maybe a 4 1/2 months

It's really hard to tell from the pictures to be honest. I've found with my chams they will develop some white or lighter colored patches a few days before a shed. Hes had the spots since Friday?

Yes I agree with @Antihero383 I think he is about to shed, but really hard too tell without better pic.

Yes he has had the spots since friday. I noticed the spots are only their when he is a darker color because I had him out earlyer so I could clean his cage and he didn't have those spots when he was lighter and his skin looked dry when I was holding him so I think it might just be the start of a shed now.
