So the reason I’m posting this thread is because I want advice on how to tell if a hatchling crested gecko is healthy and eating after over a week and if my setup for my chameleon is ok.
Crested geckos- (btw they weren’t expected AT ALL and just kinda popped up)
So the gist of the situation is thst I sube two hatchlings In a tub (pics for reference) and I have both water and their powdered base food in as well. Both are roughly over a week old and both have already gone through their first shedding. I change food out every two days and water every day. The temperatures are roughly 73-70 in the day and 68-70 at night. (Dw I will get the temperatures changed once I have a better set up). And the humidity is 98% for most the day and the lowest it goes is 66% which is at night and when I spray a bit more to make it mid 90’s upper 89’s. The set up is bio active with springtails and ish bitty baby isopods to deal with waste and the pothos (only plant in the entire thing).
Chameleon-
I’ve had this little guy for over a year and is doing well I believe. He has access to crickets all day every day until it runs out, to which I don’t get more until the next day. He currently is getting watered 3-5 times a day with a heaving misting all over the cage. His set up is about four feed wide and about 6-7ft tall. The hot spot in the cage is upwards of high to mid 80’s, and the cold spot is the low 70’s. This tank is also bioactive with springtails tails amd isopods. He had a mister at night but does not sube one currently due to some issues with finances. He will be getting a mister within the next 2 weeks hopefully.
