Where is the Faly thread?

Where is the Faly thread from last night? It was getting good and I had to go to bed so someone hit me up and let me know. I am like an old lady at a sewing circle. It's a shame, I was about to put in my 2 cents.

I missed it too. Darn it was my thread and I didn't see it. I only heard about it from my million pms, emails, phone calls, and vmails.

I will say this Faly is totally Faly. The pic they were arguing over was the faly at only 5 months old. There is no ambanja in him at all. He is totally white now, and covered with red rain. The bright blues are finally popping and he is starting to look insane. If it warms up today enough, I will get him outside and post some pics for you chuck.

LMAO IT WASNT ME just for the record it was jim that was runnin off at the mouth i was good... A few of us went over to fauna an talked abit about it we told him to go over there but he never showed up. yall should go over an check out why jim has a prob with me i posted it there..

I don’t know Jim from a hole in the ground so I don’t have any personal relationship with him whatsoever. However he has been keeping and breeding a very long time – longer than most of the people on that thread that’s for sure - so I tend to value that experience and that knowledge. He mentioned some history of the locale that was interesting, history that I remember from when the first Falys came in years ago.

At some point I’m hoping that we can have an interesting discourse about this locality without all the petty jealousies and complaining that seem to come with it. Think that is possible everyone?

wont happen here cause ya haveta be honest an some just cant doit. ill give you jim breeding alot of chams he has, i bought one from him a hannibal male ambanja it turned out falybanja ya should see his responce to me ya can read it on fauna if ya like then come bk an tell me what a upstandin person he is. Bottom line is, Jim's goal is to sell his chameleons and that includes bashing other peoples lines under the guise of educating all of us. Females from different locales can get mixed in with anyone's line and won't get recognized until it's too late. Most people that want to preserve certain locales are doing the best they possibly can.

this would be great i too believe he raise some good points pertaining too the locale its self !!! and the history that alot of people on here have never known but then again he may have raised some of those who think they can pick out impurities now because of what they were told it would be great if the personal feelings could stay out of it but.....

this is a good point also chuck we are all trying to reach a certailook in our chams and we want what looks what we believe to be pure in our locales. but the bashing i dont believe is necessary at all

I wish I saw it, but I do not think Jim was attacking me. I have done a lot of business with Jim and he is always very kind and polite. That said, we should all try to avoid personal attacks and stick to the facts.

Not saying it was a personal attack but when you try to sell some of your "unpure" Faly's and your sales are down and someone that has "pure" Faly's sales are up...mission accomplished. Subtle, yes, but this is what motivates certain individuals.

Imo he was not bashing, but the title of the thread was not "Is this a Faly?"... It wasnt necessary to say that openly, or in that thread specifically. While he did make claims and was unable to back up those claims with proof, I think that really says something. And so does the msg he sent Rob about his faly-banja..

I’m serious though when I say I’d like an adult discussion about the locality. A new thread that perhaps mentions the history, what to look for in a true Faly, the future within the hobby, some different perspectives etc. A round table perhaps? Would that be of some benefit? Or would it just end up heavily moderated or closed?

Im all for it cause i have been around an have done my research. the prob is trace to have that happen people gotta tell the truth an they just wont or it wouldnt end up like that everytime.

Hey Tom. Sorry I bumped up your thread for pictures I never thought that would happen. Jim VERY specifically in his first post said "You got a cross there Tom, at very most only 75% Faly, you have a ambanja cross"

Now I have the brother to yours and he is NO QUESTION a 100% Pure Faly. I posted pictures of my guy in the same pose and a picture of my WC and asked him to comment on those two because they look SO very similar and he wouldn't do it. Shortly after that it got deleted. Jim posted a bunch of WC pictures in the thread but wasn't willing to post any of the offspring he has produced.
