im sure someone else on here could elaborate but these chameleons are extremely protected and are never seen in the hobby. But i would assume they would be hard to keep you would need a rather large sandy enclosure for it to make it happy. They aren't very arboreal at all. Cool things though

I've never seen them in captivity in the US. Doubt you'll ever find one.

Looks like you can get one in a desert somewhere.

Actually, they are very underground chameleons. I've heard RUMORS (ie: not facts) about the possibility that a few people in the world could own one, but even so, their caresheet is still ignored by 99% of the herp population.

And even if it could be possible to get a few in America, i don't think many could be able to keep them in health. Maybe the 4 or 5 best keepers on this forum could, and then again... So i doubt it would be possible for you to get one, sorry!
