Tell your parents they’re beetles, I’m freaked out by them, too, but my chameleon is more important to me than that. Get a white light incandescent heat bulb from the hardware store, they’re cheaper than reptile lights and last longer. Get a t5HO or T8 linear uvb fixture and a corresponding t5HO or T8 linear Zoo Med 10.0 uvb bulb
