I was cleaning out her shallow water dish and going to put a lid on it when I found this in my chameleons cage! Any experts know?

Also, remove the water dish entirely.

Yep, looks like poop. That is usually what they use the water dishes for; too bad you can't teach them to flush!

I agree with the above posters, that is feces in the water dish. Water dishes are unnecessary when it comes to Chameleons. They tend to be unsanitary, due to bacteria build up, and the Chameleon won't utilize it, when you mist the Chameleon they will drink the falling droplets of water off of the branches or leaves. They don't see standing water. I agree to invest in a dripper, or even a misting system. There are a few sponsors on here that sell misting systems.
