Welcome Julir's Bertha II

[Chameleons Northwest]

Bertha arrived here from Julirs on Thursday. She is really dear. Yesterday I sat and had some quality time with her while she sat on my lap and ate superworms. As she chewed each worm she would look up and study my face and look into my eyes. She was learning my facial patterns, and probably wondering if I was Juli (on a bad day) or what. We both have light hair and glasses. Bertha was probably thinking- Hey, Mom, you don't look so good today. You alright?

I gotta run now, but wanted to introduce our new girl. She is destined to be wed to Botero. They are both oversized chameleons and have the potential to produce very large and colorful offspring. Bertha's male siblings are very colorful:

Hooray! Now that is a Veiled couple! Bertha was a very sweet girl-the first chameleon I ever felt sad about shipping, but once I saw Botero I knew where she had to go! Plus there aren't many homes that could be better to go to!

Yep, I do indeed have Bertha I. I told Juli a few days ago that I'd take some new pics of the girl but then I forgot to let her see them. Might as well here. The flash really did a number on her though, she wasn't shedding and hasn't since I took this picture. Kid's head provided for size reference.

All Bertha's sisters look great!
