Weighing?

Thought it would be a good idea to start weighing Mr. Bojangles, keep track of things incase I ever need it. My mom is an ebay freak and has a scale that measures grams, how much should an 11 month old ambanja panther weigh approximately? Also, how can I get him to hold still while I measure him? If I had a small enough plant I'd weigh it first then put him on it, but my tiny plants aren't sturdy.

Most gram scales has an option to "tier" . And "zero" out the scale.. I out mine in a ShoeBox that i "teir/zero" then weigh him in it.

My 7 month old Ambliobe is 126g

I've been weighing my panther periodically throughout his life. It's a good way to keep track of his health I think, since if he's losing weight suddenly it means there could be some health issue. In fact, I had an issue with my Jackson's and a drop in weight was the first sign. I took him to the vet and found out he had the beginnings of MBD! I was glad to catch it early and he's made a full recovery.

I graphed and posted my chameleon weights in my blog: https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/radstusky/429-spring-2011-growth-update.html

As you can see, my panther was about 170 grams at the 11 month mark. I have a rather small scale for weighing them. I glued stick across the top of a large (quart size) plastic container. I put this on and tare it out, then put the cham on top. I have to do it fairly quickly before they knock it over, but it's worked for me.
