I got this guy a little less than 2 weeks ago and he came in thin and dark but I saw something special in him. Gotten him about 15% heavier and am about to start parasites treatment but he's looking mighty fine. let me know what all you guys think of him. I think I scored big!

if any females came in with this guy i would be pairing them up hoping for the females to be cap.est(st. marie) you may have got one of those 1 in a million shipments!

Lovely but can I ask, what's appealing about wild caught ones when captive bred ones are available?

from a pet standpoint, I would not recommend ever getting a wild caught. From a breeding standpoint wild caught animals bring in diversity and allow breeders whether for a business or a hobby to expand the available lines and help increase the quantity of captive bred specimen available.
