So, I came home from school. I have an automatic mister that I use to mist his cage. When I went to see Spyro ( which I do every time I come home ) I saw his eyes closed. They instantly opened as I came around.

Now, I suspect 2 things:

1: 𝗗𝗲𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: I haven’t checked his auto mister in a few days, so it may have run out. When I checked at it today, it was empty. I refilled it with water as soon as I saw that.

2: 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘀....?????: I haven’t gave him his Vitamin D3 like I’ve been feeding him normal calcium powder for everyday but I’ve forgotten to give him his other supplement last month becuase I had a lot going on in my family that I won’t share because its really, really horrible…

Im just scared that he may not be okay, and was wondering if it was just one of these problems or something more severe like an illness or parasite.

I haven’t seen him do this besides today so I’m not quite sure

Are you able to share a recent photo of Spyro? My littlefoot gave me a scare a few weeks ago, closing her eyes in the day for two days in a row; even when I opened her cage to check on her. I'm guessing, it was because I moved her cage around on the weekend to give her more space to use. The day I was going to take her to the vet, she was alert again and exploring all her cage again . It really made me realize how sensitive they are to change. So, if he hasn't gotten water in a few days that might be throwing him off too.

Other than the water has there been any changes to the environment around him?

It may also be the vitamins, everybody makes the mistake of going off track on that, due to life. 💕 Just try to get back on schedule and he should be ok in that sense.

It could also be the seasonal change and he's just in a slump.
