I was wondering if anyone knows of a chameleon vet within 45 minutes or so of Marysville, CA. I saw a post about a vet in Fair Oaks, but that is over an hour away. I would like to avoid that far of a drive, if possible. My vet is clueless about chameleons. She thought that female chameleons become egg bound and die if not bred .

Some female like nun still have their woman reproduction system, but that wont bother them if they dont date a man,so your vet think she will die because she is a virgin,That is not true, the female veiled might die from an egg bound but definitely not die because she still a virgin , otherwise in this world ,we will never find a NUN again

I recently took my chameleon to the Bird and Pet clinic in Roseville (I'd guess roughly 45 minutes from Marysville). I saw Dr. Popke, but I think they have several vets who see reptiles. I was satisfied with their reptile expertise.
