Vermiculite showing a little mold.

Okay, I am using vermiculite for incubation. It has been doing fine since October, all the eggs have been doing great and none have molded. However, yesterday I noticed a small amount of fuzzy, white mold forming by the edge of the container. Not on the eggs themselves however. I know you can slightly dust the verm. with athletes foot powder. Therefore, my question is do I just sprinkle a small amount all over or just where the mold is forming? The incubator isn't very wet, the sides seem to get moist, but the lid doesnt get wet too badly. So I am just curious what some of you recommend who have used the athletes foot powder before. Thanks in advance!

I would just remove the part that is moldy and see if it comes back anywhere. If not, you should be okay.

I've never used the foot powder...so I can't tell you what to do about that.

The athletes foot powder is used to help prevent the spread of mold on eggs (if they are fertile), not the vermiculite itself. If it is just the substrate, I would just remove that bit as kinyonga has suggested.
