Take a fist full of moist vermiculite and squeeze it...if you don't get more than a drop or two of water out of it, then its right.
When you move the eggs be careful not to turn them. I incubate mine at about 78F and they take about 240 days.
Where have they been up until now? How long have they been there? How many eggs were laid?

The eggs were laid last saturday morning unsure of exact amount of eggs as she covered them before i got a chance to count them all but over 20 from wot i did count.
Intended on removing eggs last sunday but after a trip to pet store was left unsure by the advice from guy at pet store ! he recommended takin half out to incubate an leave remaining half in viv an told me to wait a week before moving to incubator.
thanks for reply would you have any suggestion on the amount and placing of ventilation holes in poly box incubator ??

I hope they will be okay. Its very hard to keep the substrate at the right moisture level when they are left in the place they were laid. I hope the pet store guy hasn't cost you your clutch with his advice.
I let the female lay the eggs, bury them and return to the branches before I dig them up. The sooner you dig them up the less you have to worry about turning them accidentally and the more likely they are not to dry out or be too moist.
I fill the container I use about half full of the moist vermiculite. I use the coarse vermiculite. The containers I use are about 15" x 8" x 3". I punch two VERY TINY holes in the lids and place the eggs about 1" apart in all directions in rows in the container in dents made with my thumb on the vermiculite.

Cheers for advice K, set up the incubator with vemiculite trays an let it warm up for a few hours before placing eggs from the viv into it.
Carefully removed sand an moved 20 out of the 30 eggs into incubator, she worked so hard making nest and laying eggs i thought i would leave 10 eggs for her to care for !! will monitor the the sand for correct moisture..
hav set temp at 25 deg in incubator now just wait an see !

I think you should set them a little deeper to stop them from rolling when they start to move in the egg.

I really don't understand why you left 10 eggs in her enclosure.
She could care less about them now.

How deep were the eggs laid? I had a conversation about this just last night. If you were planning on trying to hatch the eggs where they were laid, I think you should have left them all in there. I along with another fella believe they all hatch at the same time and help each other dig their way out. I don't know if a clutch of 10 would be able to dig their way out. It will be interesting to hear how this works out for you. Best of luck with it.
Planning on runnin at 25c brad , had a reply in this post who had good results at 78f an 25c is about 77f so was gonna go with that but hav read in another post(urs i think) they started off cooler an upped temp later with good results.
hav dun alot of research into this but struggled at crunch time as to pickin a method to go with as there are a few different approaches an recomendations that includes the bad advice i have received from local pet store ! Left 10 eggs in with mother as i felt guilty takin away her chance at parenting but if it is as u say they hav no maternal instincts it seems to be a wasted exercise. thanks for input brad any other advice is welcome.
eggs are only about 1- 2" below surface of sand do u think that is shallow enuf? eggs in viv will benefit from the night time drop in temp but incubator ones wont, gonna keep an eye on moisure of sand any tips on how moist i shud keep it ?

The perfect mix for me seems to be 1 part water to 3 parts vermiculite. After a little research some suggest as much as 1 part water to 2 parts vermiculite. If you start out with 1 to 3 you could always add water to get it to exactly where you want it. This would be a good start so you're not adding a drop of water at a time not knowing what to expect. This is, of course, assuming you start with dry vermiculite.
