UVB pickle

I am going to be buying two umbrellas. How many will I need?
Also, for an umbrella tree, would I need a sansai?
If you mean the Sansi screw-in bulbs, I would get one for each umbrella plant.
If you have a 2x2x4 enclosure, one of the Sansi pads will do for the whole thing (both plants & more).

The Sansi lights look expensive, but when you consider their output, low energy consumption, and lifespan, they're the best deal I've found.

I agree there are other brands that will work; I just don't have any experience with them.

What do I screw my lights into? I will get the screw in ones

Separate aimable dome fixtures. All lights should be aimable to provide gradients.

@Klyde O'Scope Do you think I could do this...... Remove my current basking bulb from my double dome fixture. Put the two sansais in there. Then, I buy a single dome fixture and put my basking light in there.

Sure, but how would you aim the 2 lights in the twin dome at different plants?
Those twin domes usually come in those chameleon kits, and like a lot of other things in those kits, they're not all that useful because you can't aim them differently.

True, true. I am planning on putting my plants close together.

Look, by the time you buy the 2 dome fixtures and 2 sansi bulbs to go in them, you'll be spending as much as you would if you just got the rectangular pad, which would take care of your whole enclosure, and you wouldn't have to aim it—except straight down.
