Uvb light question

Hello, I'm a new member to the forums. I don't know if I'm posting this in the correct section. Basically my question comes down to this. My cousin has some panther chameleons and he was asking me if his uvb light was correct and since I'm not an expert I decided to get a better opinion from this forums. I got some repti glo 5.0 for mine and while trying to find out if his was ok I came across some answers saying reptisun 5.0 was better than my repti glo 5.0. Now the one he has looks nothing like that. I will attach a picture because I have never seen that light neither do I think it is for reptiles since he told me he bought it at Walmart.
I appreciate any input.

I've never heard of that bulb but it does look to be a UVB T8 bulb. Honestly, I would just junk it and get some Reptisun 5.0 bulbs. They have been tested and tons of people use them for their chameleons. They are dirt cheap and it isn't worth the possible risk to your chameleons using the one in the pictures if you don't have a UVB meter to accurately take readings on the bulb.

Thank you NHenn for your reply. He is 15 years old and sometimes he thinks that by buying cheap stuff he is gonna have extra money to buy other stuff. I told him when it comes to chameleons he can't be doing that. I might just buy one for him over the internet and have it shipped to his house. Thank you again for ur reply.

The tube warning about "dangerous to skin and eyes" would put ME off! We know ReptiSun 5.0s work well. The price of the bulb isn't really the issue here. If the light does not produce the correct part of the UV spectrum it won't be correct for a cham regardless of price. I don't have any experience with the newer T8 type bulbs yet so can't comment on them.
