Can someone please help me formulate a logical response to this craigslist ad?

I really want to help out but don't have the room. Is there anyone in Arizona willing to get this chameleon AND/OR gecko out of this situation?
I would really like to get the chameleon myself but I just do not have the cage or supplies for another at this time. If you can get the chameleon, I can get the gecko (temporarily).

Adult Femael Veiled Chameleon, held daily...She is Bright Green, and about 8-10 inches head to tail...
The Female Leopard Gecko, has nerve damage from previous owner but is just fine when it comes to moving and eating

They both share the same 30 gallon tank and get along fine, comes with a heat lamp, vines, peat moss bottom, hide away, rock, vines, water bowl, and fake plants...

Im looking for an Ipod touch, must be unlocked, no cracks in screen or back, front button must work perfect...Must have sync chord
Or trade for other reptiles

It's no problem, I just got birthday money and stuff but... I have the feeling it's going to cost more than what I have in the end for both animals.. plus I'm trying to save money. I just figured I'd post this here to see if anyone local wanted to help out or post a reply I can send to this craigslister so I can get them pointed in the right direction.

I can't believe what people do sometimes. You figure that this person hasn't read a single caresheet for either species in their life, if they think it's ok to keep them both together in a tank like that. At least they're trying to get them new homes... I guess that's something?

You don't really know the situation. In the ad he mentions that the gecko has nerve damage from a previous owner. Maybe this guy has rescued these reptiles and is now trying to find better homes for them! I wouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions and sending nasty text messages to people I don't even know! That's just me.

It's defiantly not a rescue. After speaking to him his exact response was " they live in the same place, so they can live together"....which obviously they don't....then I got livid. How inconsiderate. I know syns reasoning was not for me to do that, but I didn't care, nor did I mention anything about these forums.

It was not from me, he already sold it, which I was very happy to hear. Now they will hopefully have wonderful, separate lives together.

Let me stress, when I contacted him, it was very nice, calm and I just stated the issue that was at hand, then he got defensive and start throwing the ignorant slurs. So I got pissed back. He's a joke.
