Upside down and going in circles?

recently my chameleon learned that he can walk on the top of the cage (upside down) and he has been constantly walking in circles under the UVB light. Any reason why?

Put some branches or vines across the upper part of the cage.

Mine does this too quite frequently. I'm not sure if it's because he's just exploring his new home or if he's trying to get closer to the heat lamp

All my boys went through a period when they were like little monkeys; walking on the ceiling, hanging by the tail, etc. As long as your temps are OK its most likely perfectly normal behavior. Just mind the position of your hot light(s) so he doesn't burn himself.

Thanks for the replies! My temps are all okay, I think he was exploring because he was looking up at the top then seemed to have a blast when he was hanging upside down haha!
