Came home from work and found my little panther boy asleep upside down at the top of his screen, one issue though…

Hey everyone! For context I do have a timer set on my UVB and heat lamp, I have a T5 5.0 UVB and 50W Arcadia heat bulb. I came home tonight from work and found him sleeping upside down in the enclosure, that isn’t my concern, my concern is where he is sleeping, he is directly under the UVB and I’m hoping it won’t cause issues, this is the first time he’s done it. He just flew in 2 days ago as well. I just wonder if he was under it for a while before the lights had gone off or not 🥺

Will this cause harm if he did this just this one time?

With babies it’s best to elevate your lights above the screen top by at least a few inches to prevent burns. To accommodate, you’ll want to raise your basking area the same distance. I use small wire baskets from the dollar store to elevate my lights, since it’s just going to be a temporary thing.
To answer your question, there’s no way to tell if he was there when the lights were still on or he moved a bit after. I would think that once the lights turn on, he’ll wake up and move. He should be ok, but do make sure to work on getting your lights above the screen asap.
