I tested out hand feeding tonight with a paper plate so my female veiled could see the roach easily. The roach crawled around and Camryn watched it for a few seconds, weighing her chances of survival 
, when she finally gobbled it up. I tried for another one but to no avail. She lost her nerve as I brought the second helping up to her.
She fled rather quickly, so I left her alone after that and gave her some much needed quiet and switched the humidifier on. I feel that we made good progress tonight.
The reason I used the plate is because she just wasn't seeing it in my hand, and I didn't want to force it up in her face so she would see it. Thank you all for the suggestions and I can see a bright, confident future for my young lady.
