Top Screen climbing

When should chameleons stop climbing on top on their cage? I found my almost 4 month old female climbing all over the top of here cage today

The answer to that is probably never. Just make sure she is safe.

Yeah, I dont think they go by a time schedule, but they do tend to loose
interest when adult

When my boy (almost a year old at the time) would do that after I switched cages, I added more vines and branches and he stopped immediately.

Almost as if he was astounded that he had a screen cage instead of glass walls!

Kuzco still does that lol. He loves to be batman.

as soon as i put my little guy in a screen cage he lost all interest in the top climbing. Guess he thinks hes to cool for that now lol

Our boy is now 6 months old and has finally kicked the habit! He loved hanging up side down like batman! His claws are now too big for the mesh so he doesn't do it! I actually posted on here for advice when he use to do it! Good luck!
