Too much light?

Can you have too much light for your chameleon. Currently I have a 10.0 UVB and a household spot light. I am in the construction industry and was given a handful of 4ft 6 bulb fluorescent office light fixtures. I want to hang this above the cage.

Is this going to be too much light for my chameleon??

In my opinion, as long as there isn't too much heat and there is a place for your Cham to hide when it's looking for shade, there shouldn't be a problem. Also it is important to keep your light above the cage so your Cham doesn't end up looking directly at the lighting which may cause some issues down the road. Put yourself in their claws, would you want to be in that situation?

Typical flourescent lights are okay. As many as you want, pretty much. Just make sure not to overdo the UVB. A single 10.0 linear on that cage is plenty.
