Tongue Action!

I am continuing to try and teach myself to take good action shots; it’s hard to anticipate the shot because if you wait till it shoots its already too late. That and they always seem ready to shoot and just as I take the shot, they eye ball me for an instant leaving me with a shot of just a tongue sticking out!
Looking at the shots I find it facanating how the tongue works (I can see why Chris is so into it). It can wrap around the prey, and also to an extent engulf the whole item! It’s just cool. . . I shall continue to learn.

dude! that last pic of the beardie looks really weird. (in an awesome way) it's eye has a sweet cartoonish look. love all the photos, especially the one with the two females. i think its funny how the other one is looking at her food getting caught first! hah

Cool photos! I tried many times to get a tongue shot of Lily, but like you, always shot to early or too late,lol! Best I ever got was half an inch of tongue on it's way out!

Hehe the animals were going crazy yesterday for those superworms!! I love how almost every single one of them would eat right out of my hands What good animals we have...I train them well!! haha
