lol those things can be expert hiders! i found one that had to have lived under my Chinese water dragons substrate for a month, this puppy was huge! prolly full of water, when i found it i threw it to him and guts were squirted everywhere while he enjoyed it!
Not hiding is a sign he is not afraid of you. Mine are usually right in the open sticking to the front of the glass near the top like they are waiting for me to take them out, lol! Did I ever show you the new video of my tokays? I put it up on youtube last week I think. My daughter filmed me holding them. If you wanna see it let me know and I'll put a link on here so you can watch it.
Here ya go! Ariel is the one I'm holding in my hands. She is the wild caught adult I got earlier this year. Sebastian is the one in my lap and he is the captive born one I've had since he was a little baby. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYzgX6c02Tg
Yes, but when you get them they are usually skinny, full of parasites and have possible illness. When I got Ariel I wormed her and quarantined her for a few months before I put her with Sebastian. After being wormed she gained weight fast I was worried she would hate me after me giving her panacur (forced in her mouth) everyday but she didn't. I tamed her in like two days. She's a sweet heart.
