Does anyone have any tips for getting your chameleon use to you. Besides hand feeding ive been moving really slow thanks to the tip from jannb and its been working hes been less nervous around me i need more tips

Maybe being in the same room with him so the cham can see you and can fell comfortable as you mean no harm from such distance. After some time he will start thinking you are just a moving furniture and won't freak out in your presence :)

It has taken Amy 3 months to become totally confident with me. I would say to continue taking it slow, and have lots of patience! It pays off in the end. Amy is now 6 months old and over the last couple of weeks she has decided that I'm not so bad after all and will almost run down her vine to come out when she sees me! Hang in there and be patient!

Don't use black gloves.

Not sure what it is, but both my male chams have a hatred for the black gloves I was using to prevent being bitten.

I opened the cage today to mist the cage without gloves on and managed to get right under my bigger male, he even climbed up onto my hand until he realized where he was then started getting edgy so I put him back in the cage.
No puffing/hissing/gaping/etc.

I was happy :D
