How to best clean up?

So a while ago i introduced yoshi. Hes been pretty good and he usually doesnt stress when im around. However! I need to clean! His enclosure is messy, poorly set up and has shed/deification that needs cleaned up. He is not climbing onto my hand anytime soon no matter the treat and its even worse if i try to lead him onto a stick. I feel bad being in his space but he wont let me get him out.
What do i do?

got everything set up and cleaned as best we could. Spot cleaned everything and pulled all bedding. He wasnt entirely a fan. the darkest and spottiest ive seen my little buddy. i feel bad for stressing him out but he's got a horn worm to hopefully forgive me.
new enclosure is almost finished curing and then can start final set up. then the question again is.... HOW TO MOVE HIM!?!

Coaxing onto a stick is usually the easiest. I use both hands to distract and confuse as I gently put one hand beneath until I can get a couple of feet holding onto me and then I approach from behind with the other hand to further coax onto the other hand. Hard to explain. Yes, no matter how you move him it is going to cause him stress, but it is a very brief stress. It’s the long term or chronic stress that we want to avoid, like having another chameleon living next to him without a visual barrier.
