Tips on breeding

Hi I am new on here and was wondering about breeding. I have had my veiled for about a year and been thinking about getting a female to breed them but I have no idea where to start so if anyone has tips or past experiences breeding that would be a great help.

I agree with Jacksjill. What many keepers don't think about is the amount of babies you will have, especially chameleons. I don't recommend breeding chameleons unless you have a LOT of money on your hands, and years of experience keeping reptiles, and especially chameleons. If you have 90 babies, you will have to house them, feed them until they are at least 2-3 months (3 recommended), clean their enclosures often, and more. Not trying to discourage you, but you could be talking over a $1000 starting for enclosures, several hundred on maintenance, an another couple hundred on feeders. If you decide to breed your cham, have a gameplan, and know who will buy your chams ahead of time.
