Thoughts on this for a travel carrier

I'm moving at the end of the month and expect that it will take a few hours at least to tear down, move and set up the boy's enclosures in the new place.

I have looked at a few carriers, I am thinking either one of the soft side but am a bit leary. I do intend to move them to the new place the day before the main move.

But I would love people's input on this. I would try to find it in a more neutral color however.

If it's only a day or so, don't spend the extra money unless you just want to. Use a box or plastic storage tub. Put a towel on the bottom and a small branch or vine so he has something to hold onto. He can stay in that overnight, can't climb out, and it's easy to transport. Plus you probably already have that stuff.

When moving my veiled to the vet and back, I use a 1'x1'x2' plastic bin with 1" holes cut in the top and 2 small plastic vines suckered to the sides. That does the trick and is probably a more appropriate amount of room for your cham than that carrier, especially if they'll be hanging out for a day. If you spray the plants a few times and put the lid on, it'll maintain a passable humidity (mine stayed at 70% for 3 hours once in traffic).

Don't waste $$$!

don't waste money on a expensive carrier. put them in a large Rubbermaid bin with holes in the top. decorate it as u please maybe with a small amount of bedding and some décor and toys and as Lathis said a large stick to hold on to. ;)

Sincerely,
Miss Hiss
