The Rhacodactylus Thread!

I'm curious to see how many people on the forums keep Rhacodactylus.

My favorite is the Leachianus, but I can't afford them... yet.. :p

I do! My favourite is Chahoua, but I really love all of them. Here's a few quick pics

chams1, I might be interested in your Uroplasticus...Sikore? ;)

Yep, of the uroplatus we have been breeding lineatus, sikorae (although no babies yet) ebenaui (spear-point). We don't have any available babies from the sikorae but we have some eggs cooking from the lineatus. :D The fimbs are my favorite...:)

Great pictures :)

I've really enjoyed the pictures in this thread. I'd love to expand my Rhacodactylus varieties, but just can't get into anything more than the Crested Geckos right now. I've got sixteen breeders and about forty juvies. I've got some for sale on Kingsnake right now. I've got pictures of my breeders in an album under my Profile page in the forum. You can see the pictures if you click on my user name PardalisGirl. On the right hand side of the screen you will then see two albums. One for Geckos and one for Cats. Please visit and leave me a message if you do......Geckos are fabulous and, in my opinion, much easier to keep than chameleons. Thanks Syn for starting this thread. It's been great seeing all the pictures.

Catherine:

Uuuuhhhh....aren't you supposed to put that on the "classifieds"? ha ha ha j/k :D

Yeah, I like seeing everyone else's zoo besides my own. As much as I love the chams, I just love those cutsie geckos, too. And yes - WAY easier. :)

Some of my guys. Syn you can always get a Halmanara until you can afford a Lechie .
You mean halmahara right? :)

I keep/breed them, too, as well as uroplatus. Here's just a couple pics I have at the moment (work). More at home.... Syn, if you do want to start with a Halmahara (a/k/a Vorax), I have 3 babies available (hint, hint, nudge, nudge....)

I'll PM you about that!! Do you have any uroplatus phantasticus?

Syn:

Got your PM and returned. I don't have any phantasticus, but have a friend here who does and may have some available (but not for sure).

GTs can be really pricey but 350 (ish) for a NUU AMI or a NUU ANA, doesn't seem too bad.

I'm kind of partial to the GT NUU crosses. From what I've read the animals turn out stronger and hardier than pure strains. This is often the case in nature, any time you have an animal with a very limited range and limited numbers the gene pool gets a little murkie

I think I'll be getting a vorax gecko this September for now instead of a leachie. :p
