Figured I would share this with some people who might appreciate it :)

I was on my back patio today and noticed a green anole (native here) hanging out on my screened enclosure so I grabbed a couple of crickets and fed him. A few minutes later he was very bright and dancing around showing off his bright red flap when i noticed a female on the other side of the screen who's attention he wa trying to grab.

I know green anoles are not "that cool" but they have been all but replaced by the Cuban diamondback here. Sooo I decided to chase the female inside the screen area and up near the male. About 15 minutes later magic Happened, actually they are still locked up together right now:D

Anyone else have a similar situation happen to them?

That'spretty cool. Our yard in full of the anoles. We have a few green ones but mostly the brown ones. We have a few of the little house geckos too. I often see them mating in the yard and we have tons of little tiny baby ones running around. When we first moved here my dog use to chase them but he doesn't bother them anymore. We have one without a tail at all. He lives on my back porch where we keep the feeders. He's been out there for two years now. I call him Nubby and he eats from a deli cup. :D

That's awesome, I think these two will be around for a while, they are split up but seem happy where they are. I took a picture but can't upload it from my iPad for some reason. I will post it later when I'm on the computer.

We have a lot of geckos also, I feed all the neiberhood lizards anyway lol, the kids love to look for lizards and toss crickets their way:D

Cute! I love the green anoles, they're pretty cute.

I have a big green frog that visits my 2nd floor balcony all the time. Most nights he's out there and if it's not raining or I'm not busy I will bring out a couple worms or crickets to feed him. Maybe a light misting as well if it's been a very warm day. Last night it was pouring and he was right by the sliding glass door looking in, as if to say "take me in, pleeeease?" But I don't know what I would do with a frog lol

lol thats cool, i wish i lived somewhere like that.

Idk B.C. is a pretty cool place from what I heard..
Going to the islands is pretty cool. Puerto Rico has iguanas everywhere like we have Cubans and anoles. They just hang out in the parking lots and bushes, at the beach, all over lol. I even had to remove a large pregnant female from our room. It was pretty tense lol.
