Swallowing plastic.

I got a three dollar plant, which was a score since it was originally bought for 20 bucks. I thought I'd tested all the leaves, but while eating a katydid Bo managed to rip off and eat a small peice of the only loose leaf. Will he pass this do you think, or could it potentially be a problem? How long should I wait inbetween poops to take him to the vet if it does compact him? And will this hurt his inards?

i dont understand he ate a plastic plant leaf? from where? what kind of plastic like a hard one or a flimsy soft one?

How big of a chunk was missing from the leave? If it was a tiny piece, I would GUESS he will be fine. If it has much size of it, I would call the vet.

yeah if its tiny piece and I mean tiny I wouldn't worry. Anything than bigger than 2mm I would take him to the vet, just to be sure. There digestive track is small. can you post a pic of the bitten leaf?

You are out of my knowledge or expierence base. All I can say if he were mine I would call the vet and ask if he should be brought in.

My veiled bit the 1/2" tip off a syringe, doc said just to feed him alot of pumpkin stuffing. Still an inch long is alot. Guess you are on poop patrol for a while, the doc cant do anything other than surgery, it wont even show up on xray.
