What rotas do u guys use for ur chameleons Supplementation can u please tell because im not sure about mines????????

eg

monday :normal calcium
tuesday: vitamins
wednesday:c
Thursday: normal calcium
friday: normal calcium
Saturday:normal calcium
Sunday vitamins

Most folks say to use:

calcium without D3 everyday
Calcium with D3 twice a month
Multivitamin twice a month

And alternate the weeks of your calcium with D3 and multivitamin. (Calcium with D3 one week, multivitamins the next, calcium with D3, etc)

It can also vary according to what type of chameleon you have

it depends on the brand of supplements you use, how often your chameleon is outside in natural light (if at all), what type of UVB lighting you use, what feeder prey you offer, and how you gutload that prey.

typically, for a veiled, a vitamin free and phosphorous free calcium powder is used most often, with a vitamin supplement used somewhere between twice a week and twice a month (again, it depends on the brand and how you gutload)

This is certainly the general schedule for panthers and veileds. I have used it for a good five years now with good results. My chameleons have access to high output 12% T5 lighting and thrive with D3 twice a month.

i have a veiled so what would i do??

I have a veiled as well, and I use reptivite w/ d3 twice a month, and rep-cal calcium w/out d3 every feeding. My chameleon has access to UVB through a powersun, and he does well. So if your cham has access to UVB, make sure you do not overdose on d3. Also, make sure not to overdose on multivitamins. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hi,

I use Repashy products for my Chameleons.

I use Calcium Plus LoD 3 feedings per week.

I use SuperCal NoD on all other feedings.

This is my schedule during the months that my Chameleons are inside.

During outdoor months I drop the LoD to once a week.
