Super Easy Outdoor Mist Setup diy Home Depot

Hey Champanions...

So, I spent the day hooking up my outdoor play area for the chams! I have two outdoor enclosures that primarily house my Jackson’s. I also have a Thai Guava tree with a couple of palms in the same area where I let the panthers and Parson’s roam. (Question what if one of them snatches a honeybee while outdoors? Anyone ever dealt with that?).

I’ve setup the screened enclosures with an auto on/off irrigation timer, and setup the guava tree and palm misters on a manual system.

Enjoy!

This doohickey is great! Connects to the hose and then to the 1/4” micro tube.

This is the timer I setup. (2) AA batteries, then set it to turn on for 10 mins every 6 hours.

This is the “T” that feeds the misters in the guava tree and the palms.

Here are the misters (foggers) I used...

I used (2) misters per cage. These are on the timer for my Jackson’s.

Nice, I'm jealous of where you live lol. I'll be working on an automatic mist system for my Parsons outdoor enclosure as well.

And about the bees, mine eats them all the time. It's pretty hard to prevent, but I've never had a problem with it. They seem to know to grab them fast and kill them before they sting. The bees never have a chance. I'd imagine a large part of their diet in the wild comes from stinging flying insects.
