stress level?

I took my Jacksons chameleon outside for the first time. He pretty much turned all back with green spots going down his spine. I know tbis meams that he ia stressed, should i continue to take him outside until he gets uses to it or not?

Was it cool? He might have been trying to warm up. Or were there any birds or cats/furry critters around? Chameleons tend to have a keen eye for any kind of possible predator and get very stressed when they notice one.

it was almost 70 degrees, but there were birds chirping but none in sight. My dog was by the window though
