Strange and bloody stool

My adult male veiled chameleon just had some really strange looking poop, never seen this before, any thoughts?
I'm thinking maybe something was blocking and constipating him because his fecals were typically smaller than normal (he is a rescue) and now he just pooped it out? Not sure, please someone help me out thanks.

It looks sludgy and a cement kind of color. And you can see the blood next to it

i had a similar problem last month and nobody seem to knew anything about it.
the only thing i learnt is that it's not blood, cus the blood will come out all brownish, so it's something else ...

He eats cricket and Dubia and occasionally soldier flies. Nothing new in has diet, could it possibly be sand? The bottom of the cage looked like sand had gotten everywhere but he can't really access the bottom and doesn't really hunt down food that aggressively to begin with..
