Hello everyone!
This is my J.C. named Steggy. I've had him for a few months now.
He's used to it now but still isn't 100% on me picking him up. Which I don't blame him. I'd be pissed if a human had to handle me too. But, he doesn't turn black anymore so that's great.
Today though, I made a discovery. Chameleons don't like other chameleons. Like... Really don't! I've read it before that they don't do well in groups anyway. Not really a pack type breed. Well today I was doing some work on his home and had him sitting on my shoulder. Walked across my apartment and felt Steggy start jerking around. I looked at him and saw him staring at himself in a mirror in my dining room. He was within' inches. Head kept jerking up and he got all puffed up. I thought he was about to throw his tongue out at himself! Once he started turning a yellow/orange color, I began to walk away from the mirror. Put him back in his home and he perched up on a vine.
