staying low

so last night i was watching a movie like normal, and coopers lights did not turn off the normal time they were supossed to. so cooper tried to get some sleep in a dark spot around 9:30. he was asleep by the time i got in there but this morning when i woke up to do my morning spray. when i slightly misted him he didnt go up to his heat spot like normal. today i also fed him. he was still in his sleeping spot probably after 10 minutes after i sprayed him. what was weird is that he wasnt enthusiastic about it whatsoever. since he was in a dark sleeping spot it was awkward to try and feed him like normal. but i know his heat spot is not to hot cause on a normal day he just sits up there sideways to soak up the heat for 8 hours a day. so around mid day (12-2) i sprayed him again. and he was still down at the very bottom of his leaves. and its now 6:30, the 3rd time i sprayed him and hes still down there. he looked like he went to the middle bottom of the leaves but it would be nice to see him in his normal basking mood. and i might add, all the places he has gone are super dark and not a lot of light gets to those areas, thanks

dont have a substrate, have a mesh cage 4 tall y 2 wide, basking spot increases and decreases from 80 to 85 and i live in virginia, my room is mostly room temp all day long.

it looks as though he chose the spot where he was to sleep in the spot where he was when his lights turned off

and usually where he sleeps is like right in the middle section of his cage. its about 70-75
