Splat gets a cage update

Hi everyone,

well here are some more photos of Splat.
he's such a dreamboat, and what a friendly cham he is.


Dreaming of Laurie...you just know he was after seeing her for the first time.

Splat's cage was getting a makeover, and so he was just hanging out being himself.

so here's Splat's updated cage...I think I did a great job.



oh, incase you missed it...here is me teasing splat.
he normaly walks to the front of the cage, but the other day he just wanted to shoot at it already.

You did a good job! nice vid.

If you trim the ficus a bit down low it will cause it to fill out near the top where there is light. This way plant energy isn't wasted on the lower small bits of te tree that don't get much light.

Yay, Harry! The vids worked! I love the one of Splat! He has grown so much and is now a gorgeous big boy! Laurie just looks such a sweetie too, bless her! I love how chams try to be lazy until they realise their tongues aren't long enough and they have to move closer!

thanks for the idea...maybe that's why I dont have much luck with ficus.

Here is a tree i trimmed that is doing pretty well for me. the top is filling in nicely.

This pic is just after I trimmed...... not the current status... ill see about getting another pic of how it looks now.

Harry that is a nice new homw for Splat, but then as pretty as Splat is, he certianly deserves it.

Is Laurie doing well now? She is a nice looking girl in normal colors rather than those stress colors.

she did rest alot today...kinda found her on her sleeping spot for the last 2 or 3 hours before the lights went out.
I also didn't see her bask at all today.
but hey, her urate is starting to look a drop better, and she still has not freaked out.
she is shy, but I got to see her eat a silkie today.

tomorrow she'll get another 4 hour driper to help with the urates.
I'm trying real hard to leave her alone so it's hard to speak about her when I don't watch her much at all.

yet she seems to be doing well.
