Anyone else close to the fires. I sure hope I don't have to bag up Chams and get out.

Just wanted to say to all of you SoCal kids, my home is open if you have nowhere else to go. I know it is a bit of a drive here to Portland, but I understand how it can be if you need to get you and your pets out of the area quickly and maybe your collection is a bit large to stay with relatives. PM me if needed and stay safe.

My work is in the evacuation area , and so is my wifes parents house in Brea. No one lives there but we still have a lot of stuff there.

Then wind has died down a little so it looks a little better for right now.

Yeah its pretty bad all over here. They are saying this could spread all the way through to La Habra Heights! The streets are a mess. People who have been evacuated are just parked in the streets standing outside of there cars on there cell phones.

I've been out of town since Wed., and just got back an hour ago. HOLY $&^%!!!! What happened? there ash and smoke everywhere.

I'm in a pretty safe area(la Crescenta), so if anyone needs, My doors are open, and I have a truck, so I can help if you need to evac.

Man, I started to sweat just looking at those pictures Ryan! I think fire is one of my greatest fears. I have 10 cats, 4 dogs, 6 aquariums, 5 chams and 6 other lizards. Boy, that would be a packing job there - and then trying to find a place to go with all of them.

It is getting crazy at least for me. I am surrounded by 4 fires.

Now there is one in South Diamond Bar. I live very close and a couple of min from Frans. They just shutdown one of the freeways again by my house. The smoke is crazy.

Winds have slowed down, that should help.

My friends from Diamond Bar (very close to the fire that are going on right now) have decided to evacuate.
I just pray that we don't have to do it. Ryan's place and mine are literally 5 driving minutes away from each other.

I'm preparing to pack now.
I need a place to put my 3 chameleons and Ryan probably too
I hope the wind does not pick up.
Weather channel said that wind should stop around 4 pm.
