Sleeping spot

We've had our male 4 month old panther for just under a week and until now he's been putting himself to bed in pretty much the same spot at the same time each evening around 6.30pm.

His chosen spot was high up amongst some fake planting about as far away from his basking area as he could get. Tonight he was more active in the evening and has chosen a new spot which is much closer to his basking spot.

Just wondered if your chameleons all have a favourite spot for sleeping or if they mix it up?

I got my 3 month old little guy 6 days ago and he's been sleeping on the same spot as well for the last 6 days! The spot is half the height of his cage and on a ficus tree branch. He's been going to his spot at 6:30 pm as well. I set the timer to turn off everything at 7 pm but he would go to his sleeping spot before then. Funny that they act the same.

Ok, I guess it will be interesting to see where he hangs out tomorrow. Everyday we learn something new with this little guy :)

In his small home my Cham slept in the same spot, every night. In his big boy home he has 3 regular spots but majority is same one. Kath.

ya, my chams seems to sleep in the same spot for the most part. but my female is about 4 months old and she seems to mix it up, last night she went to sleep hanging upside down from the screen. I wasn't very comfortable with that so I opened the cage and slightly nuged her belly and moved her to a more secure spot.

but yes they are funny, and they do seem to find a sleep spot just around the time I turn off lights. I think they get used to the sleep cycle.
