Sleeping Habits

Hello,

I got my Panther Chameleon about a week ago now and noticed that he goes to bed at like 430-5pm everyday in a dark spot of the cage, before his lights go off. He's only 3 months old so I'm assuming it's just cause he's a baby but just wanted to check if this is normal. His lights don't go off until 7pm.

Does he close his eyes when he goes to the spot? Or does he just sit there and look around, until the lights go off?

He just sits there looking like he's ready for bed with his eyes open, but watching that video looks like I'm worrying for nothing.

As long as he doesn't close his eyes and sleep until all of the lights are off, I wouldn't worry.

Awesome glad to hear, thanks guys I'm new to this and a worry wart with this little dude.

I think you're fine, mine will visit his bedroom a few times throughout the day. He usually settles into his spot around 30 minutes before bedtime. Plus, you just got him so he's not even settled in yet, probably a bit confused still.
