Sleeping Position

hi everyone!! I just got my 6 month old panther chameleon this is his 3rd day home. Yesterday he slept on a branch towards the bottom which is ideal and when the lights turned off today he decided the front of the cage was the best option when he has tons of other spots? I just want some clarification if this is okay, or anything on how I can prevent this from happening.

You would be surprised of the most uncomfortable positions they choose. The very edge of the plant that has no hope of supporting the cham. Sleeping on their curled up tail with their butt in the air. Sleeping on the misting head for the worse good morning shower ever.

But once they are aduts they normally get attached to a dedicated sleeping stick. Pray when you clean that the stick doesnt move.

Thank you, since this is my first cham I have really only seen and heard stuff about them sleeping on branches and plants. So It worried me when he climbed to the front
