Skin Problem?... Any Ideas? *PICS*

Ok I have previously posted that my Chameleon had a few scabs on him here are the photos it looks like the scales came off and will scar. the pet shop owner said that it is a black cricket bite will it heal back to green or will it remain this way... is it a bite? what is it? and will he heal?

If the chameleon was being housed with other chameleons in the same cage it could be marks from other chameleons scratching your chameleon.

if he was being fed black crickets, it absolutely could be bites from them. they are vicious little buggers sometimes.
as long as he doesnt get infections from it, which from the sight of it, he wont, he should be fine. It may stay that way for the rest of his life, or the scales may come back. just give him time.

no they are just black scabs that expose that greyish scar... and he has been alone for a while and has not been mixed

Then he will be fine. Probably bite marks from the black crickets.
