That is what I was thinking...looks like a light burn.

Just keep an eye on it. It does not look severe if that is what it is. Make sure he can not get close the the heat light. What wattage are you using and how close can he get?Ohhh no will he be ok? Will it go away?
I uploaded the pic... the top branch I just added so it may make since...Just keep an eye on it. It does not look severe if that is what it is. Make sure he can not get close the the heat light. What wattage are you using and how close can he get?
His basking light is 55watt.. and the other is a t5 ho not sure of the wattage off the top of my head ... it’s what I found while learning with Neptune the chameleon utube videosI uploaded the pic... the top branch I just added so it may make since...
So it looks like that top branch is quite close... What bulb strength did you buy for the T5? Personally I use 60 watt regular incandescent bulbs and I have a full 10 inch drop to basking. This ensures that I do not have a thermal burn risk. If your using one of the focused heat basking bulbs they can be quite intense the closer you are to them.I uploaded the pic... the top branch I just added so it may make since...
Ok I just put that branch there yesterday so that will be coming down and yes the bulb is focused on basking and it sits higher in the fixture ... so I would switch to a house bulb? I wasn’t sure what kind to getSo it looks like that top branch is quite close... What bulb strength did you buy for the T5? Yep you want to switch that out to a regular incandescent 60 watt bulb. just make sure it is not the LED kind.Ok I just put that branch there yesterday so that will be coming down and yes the bulb is focused on basking and it sits higher in the fixture ... so I would switch to a house bulb? Per distance to basking for the UVB> which uvb strength did you get?
No hun. Your uvb bulb. For the T5ho fixture. is it a 5.0, 10.0. 6%, or 12%It’s a 55 watt
