Shipping kills...

Thanks for being so far away Wisconsin! I appreciate the extremely large shipping costs to feed my little ones!

This all started earlier this morning when I decided to switch it up a little bit and order from Mulberry farms. Well I have everything in my cart, I got a great selection of feeders and stuff, then I get to the part where the shipping is calculated... $33.81 through UPS and $41.00 through FedEx :D that might just be a kick in the face :D so I think I will order from my usual today lol still a little surprised at how much shipping was.

Ouch! Kiss it and make it better!

That totally sucks! Does the shipping cost come to more than the feeders did?

It was well over half the cost lol I had around $60.00 in feeders lol :D

I had a Silkworm egg cup count of 500, 1,000 Superworms, 2,000 Crickets, and I think like some butterworms or something, cant remember. But wow i was like maybe I am going to go back to Reptilefood.com, just placed my order. :D

I had a plan to reduce shipping costs overall but according to some physicists I know it isn't possible. I figured a really big catapult could just be aimed by a computer a and shoot a package with a parachute on a timer to go off right over the destination.

I guess there is a maximum range a non powered projectile can go and it isn't across the country. Stupid laws of physics getting in the way of perfectly good ideas.

I think your best option now is to suck up the shipping costs once and breed your own. All of your selections can be cultivated.

A more effective way might be to train the adult version of the feeders to lay eggs on the doorstep of the buyer, where they could leave a deli pot.
