I was wondering when a cham is shedding about how long does the process take? How long does it "go into shed" before it actually starts shedding the old skin? Do they still eat while in shed?

Babies- shed every 3-6 weeks, full body shed.
Juviniles- shed every 4-8 weeks, full body shed/ partial body shed.
Adults- shed every month to 3 months, partial body shed.
It can take them a week fro mthe first sign to start shedding, or a few hours, especially with babies.
Not all chams eat their shed, in fact, most dont.

What are ways to tell when they are going into shed? Do the just dullout/go whiter or is there other signs?
