Setting Up

Hello

My terrarium is for a Panther Chameleon dimensions are 48"L x 36"T x 18"W.

This is a completely "fake" interior terrarium (no live plants/real rocks etc.) having said that since it's for a chameleon the only things ON the base of the terrarium is a moss mat and 6 vertical bamboo poles (which the vines will all link up).

I have bought LOTS of hanging plants with which I intend to line both sides and some places along the rear with them, not only that but many will be affixed to the multiple vines linking the bamboo poles.

Supplement wise I purchased the Reptical Range (Pink, Blue & White) along with a large spray bottle of terrarium cleaner and 2 packs of Medi Aid and around 500ml of Water purifier.

Due to my circumstances with not being able to use a linear light setup I am having to go with 2 of the zoomed double bulb fixtures which I intend to have 1 of them with 2x 200UVB exoterra CFLs and the other light has 2 of the Zoomed basking Bulbs 50W.

The rear wall of the terrarium has a fake 3D rock work along with some nice pitcher plants which I will poke holes in there base so they can drain when water is caught in them.

Comments appreciated, more to come! :D

Well I am in a rural area in a 3rd world country so I need to get everything outside the country and bring it in personally.

This way I hope not to run out of things fast.

I'd also like to add that beyond the terrarium itself I also have a DIY 10L humidifier along with a 3 nozzle MistKing watering system already in my possession.

Added some more plants to the rear wall which I think is enough overall, both sides will be covered in plants so only the front shows view and the vines will also have plants intertwining around them with certain areas more dense as elevated hides for the chameleon.

There is nothing on the terrarium base except for a moss mat.

Well I got it all really cheap :D specially the plants because I got them from overseas and they were nearly a 10th of what you would pay in a shop in the U.S. etc.

The hanging plants were only $3-$4 each and all the "Lrg" size.

I'm going to have to make my own light stand for the terrarium because the 2 I purchased to hold the double bulb Hoods is too short with a max expansion of 90cm (the height of my terrarium).

However the design of the pre purchased stands is what I am going to do to make the new ones except longer overall with a BASE height of 120cm but capable of going much more (for future terrariums which will be 4ft tall).
