Here I have silkworm, cricket , dubia roach, home grown earthworm, I place each one of them to my Dickie Roll's nose for 5 seconds each, then I put them all in a feeder cup, surprisingly he aim only at the home grown earthworm which he never had before on his dinner manual, does this mean my Dickie Roll like to eat New earthly raw meat over others???? All these feeder move fast except the dubia roach, can it be the new item smell attract to his attention??? This makes me wonder.....Yup...yup

I think Chams do have a sense of smell..or some other unknown sense, when it comes to feeders.

I free range my crickets. Sometimes when the supplies that are roaming around his enclosure get low, i add in some more freshly bought ones, and even though there are crcikets roaming around, as soon as i put in the new batch, he immediately goes for them, probably because they smell different or he can tell the difference.

A Veiled i used to have use to sprint over as soon as i placed bell pepper in his cage, even though he couldn't actualy see it.
