hey,
im not sure whether to get a silver metal screen or a black one? is there a difference? what looks nicer? what can you see through the most? cheers

black imo looks cleaner, and your eyes can focus past it. silver creates reflection, and makes it hard to see with light shining on it, but thats how i see it.

Just make sure the black kind isn't fiber glass screen, crickets can chew through it.

It's improbably that crickets chew through it. Use the black screen, you can look through it far better

I really suggest the material I posted a link to. It will save your cham's claws. It will be worth the money. Since you are building from scratch I would go with something larger than standard screen.
