jamest0o0 Chameleon Enthusiast Jun 12, 2018 #2 People seem to use both. Sand, according to what people have reported, works great. I'd imagine they come from an area with sand/dirt soil mixture. I use a sand/dirt mix that holds a tunnel for my panther.
